for Harvest City Christian Academy is the perfect concert to attend with

February 10th (Sunday) - Tune in to Regina's Access Communications Cable 7
from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, as Rory Allen joins many other media personalities
for the 20th Annual Regina Humane Society's "You've Got a Friend" Telethon!
Businesses, individuals, classrooms, corporations and community groups are
urged to help us make 2008's "You've Got a Friend" Telethon the most
prosperous one yet! Get creative with your fundraising strategies - Penny
Drives, Dress Down Days, Corporate Challenges, Bake Sales - every donation
will ensure good food and care for animals with no place to call "home". The
Regina Humane Society will gladly help your fundraising abilities by
providing guest speakers, signs and information. Supporters are welcome to
send representatives to the Telethon to make a live presentation of their
monetary gift - so have some fun, and support the Regina Humane

February 19th (Tuesday) - Regina Christian Women's Luncheon at the West
Harvest Inn, Regina.  This is a lovely afternoon of good food and good

May 2nd (Friday) - In conjunction with the 20th Annual Strawberry Fair,
St.Paul's Cathedral presents Rory Allen and Jeffrey Allan Sawatzky in
concert!  Event starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 in advance - available
from members at St. Paul's Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre, Regina, SK.
Refreshments and desserts will be available and there will also be a silent
auction during the evening. 

May 30th and 31st (Friday/Saturday) - Rory will be back in Winnipeg with his
fabulous 11-piece band to entertain at McPhillips St Station Casino!

June 14th (Saturday) - Rory Allen and his incredible 11-piece band will be
rockin' the town in Moosomin, SK at the Moosomin Communiplex to help raise
money for the Fleming Historical Preservation Society for renovations to
their grain elevator. Fleming is the smallest 'incorporated Town' in Canada
and has a population of less than ninety people, yet they have one of the
finest ball parks on the prairies, including lights, electronic scoreboard,
new concessions booth and bleachers, as well as a covered beer gardens area.
In fact, they refer to their beautiful Green Acres Ball Park as the 'Diamond
of the Prairies'. The Lake of the Woods Milling Company Limited elevator at
Fleming is the oldest existing wooden-cribbed grain elevator in Canada. Now
in the process of preserving and restoring the building for the education
and enjoyment of the present and future generations, the Fleming Historical
Preservation Society have had the elevator cleaned from top to bottom, a
major job in itself, windows and doors replaced, the roofs reshingled and
the south a 24" metal pnd east walls reclad with 18" xanels that had to be
custom ordered, primed and painted to the original colours of Lake of the
Woods. They expect to have the west and north sides, together with the small
cupola atop the main part of the elevator completed this spring. When that
is done the printing, as it appeared when the elevator opened for business
in 1895, will be painted on, completing the project!

They are proud to present Rory Allen in concert to help raise money for this
great project - tickets are $20, which includes a dance to follow Rory's

June 17 (Tuesday) - Rory will once again be judging the "Senior Star" contest, put on by the Chartwell Select Renaissance Retirement Residence.
