October 2nd (Friday - Conexus Arts Centre, Regina, SK) and
October 3rd (Saturday - TCU Place, Saskatoon, SK)
 Rory Allen in concert with Elvis Presley's Imperials Quartet, to benefit the
Regina and Saskatoon Food Banks!
This year marks the 40th anniversary of Elvis Presley's return to live
performances and in celebration, Rory Allen will be joined in concert by The
Imperials, the renowned quartet that accompanied Elvis for his momentous
comeback to the stage. The Imperials not only sang with Elvis in concert,
but also recorded with the king of rock 'n' roll on such hits as "Suspicious
Minds" and "In the Ghetto." They can also be seen in Elvis' hit movie
That's the Way It Is and have been featured at the 20th and 25th anniversary"Elvis, the Concert" shows in Memphis.
Today The Imperials are busy performing all over the world for both Elvis fans of years gone by and for a new generation of fans who want "to meet
someone who knew Elvis." Terry Blackwood, lead singer and son of one of the
original Blackwood Brothers Quartet, and Joe Moscheo, bass singer and
manager of the original group, are joined by Sherman Andrus, who came to the
Imperials in 1972, and tenor Gus Gaches.
Backed up by Rory's own incredible live band, these are sure to be two
memorable evenings of classic Elvis hits, gospel favourites and more! Plus, proceeds from the concerts will benefit the Regina and Saskatoon Food Banks!
Tickets for the October 2nd Regina concert on sale starting Tuesday, July
7th at 9:00am at all Centre Box Offices. For more ticket information on the
